It exclusively utilizes a cellular connection for its uplink and provides a wired uplink to connected devices, such as MX routers or other routing devices.

The MG21 is compatible with any routing device, whether it is Meraki or non-Meraki. Additionally, it supports 802.3af, allowing it to be placed anywhere and powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), similar to an access point. This flexibility in placement ensures optimal signal quality, which is essential for reliable wireless WAN communications.
