The Smart-UPS On-Line series delivers robust, double-conversion online power protection, ideal for servers, communication networks, medical environments, and light industrial settings. Designed in a versatile rack/tower convertible format, these UPS systems support power loads ranging from 1 kVA to 10 kVA. The 6 kVA, 8 kVA, and 10 kVA models offer a unity power factor, making them well-suited for high-demand applications such as blade servers and densely populated equipment racks.

For operations that require extended uptime, these UPS units can be paired with additional battery packs to provide several hours of backup power. The included PowerChute™ Network Shutdown software ensures a smooth, unattended shutdown of network operating systems during outages. Models from 5 kVA and above come with a built-in network management card, enabling remote monitoring and control.

The Smart-UPS On-Line family is engineered to perform in environments with challenging power conditions, offering features such as a broad input voltage range, precise output voltage control, frequency stability, internal bypass capability, and input power factor correction.
