Automatic Bridging
Unlike other UniFi switches, the UDB-Switch includes UniFi WiFi Auto-Link with STR MLO support, providing automatic and stable wireless bridging between UniFi access points. With the UniFi WiFi Auto-Link connection, this switch uses the 5 GHz and/or 6 GHz bands when available from nearby UniFi Access Points. Additionally, the use STR MLO support enables simultaneous, aggregated use of the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands, providing full-duplex connectivity and significantly higher throughput.
It is important to note that the UDB-Switch is specifically designed for wireless bridging and cannot operate as a standalone wireless access point.
Versatile Functionality
While designed for wireless bridging, the UDB-Switch provides the option to be used as a standard wired switch. Simply connect the switch to a wired uplink at startup and it will function the same as a wired UniFi switch.
