The U5G-Max-Outdoor is a high-performance 5G solution specifically engineered for outdoor environments. It has enhanced weatherproofing, featuring a rugged, weather-resistant enclosure rated at IPX6 for protection against harsh conditions. In addition, the UniFi 5G Max Outdoor features a built-in high-gain directional antenna operating on the n77/n78 bands. It delivers stronger, more consistent performance in outdoor environments by improving signal reception and extending coverage.

The UniFi U5G-Max-Outdoor supports Sub-6 GHz 5G networks and is backward compatible with a wide range of 4G/LTE networks worldwide, delivering ultra-fast speeds and low latency for modern applications.

This modem supports dual SIM functionality with flexible options. The U5G-Max-Outdoor can operate in Dual SIM Single Standby (DSSS) mode, where only one (1) SIM is active at a time:

• Mode 1: One (1) external SIM (UIM1) and one (1) embedded eSIM (UIM2)
• Mode 2: Two (2) external SIMs (UIM1 and UIM2)
