The VigorAP 918R is a rugged outdoor wireless access point built to deliver reliable Wi‑Fi in open and exposed environments. It’s ideal for providing connectivity in areas such as restaurant patios, gardens, marinas, school grounds, or any location where outdoor coverage is required.

This model supports dual‑band 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi‑Fi and can operate as both an access point and a range extender. It integrates seamlessly into a DrayTek Mesh Wireless network, helping eliminate issues like weak signals, video buffering, slow speeds, and dead zones. One unit serves as the mesh controller (root), and up to eight devices can be linked to form a unified, easy‑to‑manage mesh—extending coverage without additional cabling.*

Setup is straightforward using the DrayTek Wireless app. Whether you’re building a new mesh network or configuring AP or Range Extender modes, the Quick Start Wizard guides you through each step.

For management, the VigorAP 918R works with VigorACS, VigorConnect, router‑based AP management, or can operate independently as a standalone device. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of outdoor deployments.
