The VigorAP 918R is an outdoor wireless access point, perfect for providing wireless connectivity in various outdoor settings such as restaurants, gardens, marinas, educational premises, or any location requiring outdoor access.

This dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 access point and range extender can be integrated into a DrayTek Mesh Wireless solution, designed to eliminate issues like wireless dropouts, stuttering videos, slow download speeds, poor signal, and Wi-Fi dead zones. One access point serves as the controller (Mesh root), and up to eight access points can form an easily manageable wireless mesh, extending coverage without the need for expensive cabling.

Setting up the VigorAP 918R is straightforward with the DrayTek Wireless app. Whether creating a new Mesh network or configuring it in AP and Range Extender modes, the Quick Start Wizard guides you through the process. You can manage the VigorAP 918R centrally via the VigorACS central management platform, VigorConnect, Router AP Management, or as a stand-alone access point.

The VigorAP 918R offers the flexibility to be used in any environment, adapting to your specific needs.

The VigorAP 918R is conveniently powered via its Gigabit Ethernet port using Power over Ethernet. Additionally, you can connect and power extra devices through the VigorAP 918RPD's secondary Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-Output.

Easy to Configure and Manage
The DrayTek Wireless app makes network setup straightforward. You can also choose to configure and monitor your network using DrayTek's management platforms, such as VigorACS cloud, VigorConnect, Router AP Management, or directly through the AP's Web Interface.
