The VigorAP 918R is an outdoor‑rated wireless access point built for reliable connectivity in open environments. It’s well‑suited for locations such as restaurant terraces, gardens, marinas, school grounds, or any setting where durable outdoor Wi‑Fi is required.

This model delivers dual‑band 802.11ac Wave 2 performance and can operate as both an access point and a range extender. It integrates seamlessly into a DrayTek Mesh Wireless system, helping to remove issues like weak coverage, video buffering, slow connections, and dead zones. One unit acts as the mesh controller (root), and up to eight access points can be linked to form a simple, centrally managed mesh network—extending coverage without installing costly cabling.*

Setup is straightforward using the DrayTek Wireless app. Whether you’re creating a mesh network or configuring AP or Range Extender modes, the Quick Start Wizard guides you through the process.

The VigorAP 918R can be managed through VigorACS, VigorConnect, router‑based AP management, or used on its own as a standalone device. Its versatility makes it suitable for deployment in virtually any outdoor environment.
