About This product
This APC Smart-UPS is tailored for IT managers and network administrators to ensure business continuity, data transfer, and uptime during extended power outages. The 2200VA line-interactive 2U rack/tower UPS delivers pure sine wave power, protecting critical electronics during power disruptions. The SMX model includes an IEC 320 C20 input and comes with BS1363A, IEC 320 C20, and Schuko CEE 7/EU1-16P power cords. It features 8 IEC 320 C13 outlets and 1 IEC 320 C19 outlet. The UPS has a SmartSlot for an optional Network Management Card, which facilitates the graceful shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and HCI clusters via PowerChute Network Shutdown. It can connect to up to 10 SMX120RMBP2U external battery packs to extend battery power duration (sold separately). The intuitive LCD interface and PowerChute software allow for easy configuration and monitoring. This UPS can integrate with EcoStruxure IT and other third-party centralized management platforms. The SMX2200RMHV2U can be used as a tower or rack-mounted UPS, providing installation flexibility. The SMX UPS comes with a 3-year warranty, while the built-in lead-acid battery has a 2-year warranty. It supports a user-replaceable battery, and the APC replacement battery cartridge helps restore the UPS to its original performance specifications. The Smart-UPS includes tower-mounting stabilizing feet and rack-mounting brackets. It features 3 switchable outlet groups for more granular power management and an Emergency Power Off function for remote shutdown during emergencies.
