Read moreOur connectivity portfolio
The route to the internet is about more than just communications; it’s how businesses access the key systems and critical data that they need to operate! Our connectivity products give you what organisations need today — in a way that is scalable for tomorrow. Using our network, we deliver Layer2, Internet Access, MPLS & Managed SD-WAN. We do this over a mix of fibre, copper and cellular-based services.
With NWConnect you can:
- Achieve cutting edge connectivity to solutions for your UK and/or international business from 1Mb to 10Gb!
- Choose the right technology and resilience options
- Have complete network control and visibility via our Managed SD-WAN solutions
- Control your services and customise on the fly using our award-winning 1Portal
This means you can:
- Optimise network performance to deliver resilience, security and competitive advantage to the business
- Keep critical data safe with industry leading security options from firewalls to Managed SD-WAN
- Enjoy network reliability. We are so confident that we offer 100% SLAs for availability

We offer 3 solutions in our NWconnect Portfolio
Managed SD-WAN
Our cutting edge SD-WAN product gives you unprecedented control and visibility over how the network is behaving and what interventions might be required. Available as a fully managed or co managed service, we give you the chance to take advantage of the SD-WAN market with as much support as you need.
MPLS and Internet Access
We provide both MPLS and Internet Access solutions through a single, integrated network and supplier. Access is available across our entire portfolio of connectivity, and configurable through 1Portal, from real-time bandwidth change, to VLAN configuration and DHCP settings.
Layer 2
Our Layer 2 solution is perfect for those of you who run and maintain your own core network, we provide the underlying connectivity, routing all traffic back to your network across resilient interconnect. Available using different configurations such as E-line, E-LAN, E-tree or E-access and all backed up by rigorous SLAs.

Connectivity Technologies
Fibre Ethernet
Available across the UK, Fibre Ethernet offers a dedicated and symmetrical bandwidth service delivered on uncontended fibre access at speeds from 10Mb up to 10Gb, all backed up by our industry-leading SLA’s. Ethernet bandwidth can be increased quickly and easily in line with your customer’s emerging business needs. Fibre Ethernet is essential for locations with over 20 users and is the standard for most office locations.
Cellular Ethernet
Leveraging the power of multiple mobile networks in the UK, we provide an Ethernet solution based on Cellular connectivity, that automatically uses the strongest signal in any given location. All traffic is transported privately back to our core network using a fixed IP Address, maintaining the security and performance of your data. As a Primary service, the data consumption is chargeable and when deployed as a backup, any data usage is included in the monthly cost. Cellular Ethernet is ideal where fast deployments are required, or where delivering Fibre or Copper services is problematic.
EFM - Ethernet in the First Mile
EFM is ideal for customers looking for an alternative solution to Fibre Ethernet or ADSL, who need an uncontended service and symmetrical bandwidth. The service is delivered at speeds of up to 30Mb. EFM is delivered over bonded copper pairs to the customer’s premises, which makes it a highly cost-effective and resilient alternative to fibre-based Ethernet solutions (with shorter lead time than Fibre Ethernet). EFM is ideal for customers needing a quick installation or who have problems with fibre access to their premises.
EoFTTC - Ethernet over Fibre to the Cabinet
EoFTTC is provided over a single copper pair from your business premises over the short distance to the green cabinets in the street. Unlike standard broadband where the copper then continues all the way to the exchange, Fibre carries the data from the green cabinet back to the exchange. As a result, the extra distance doesn’t lead to the ongoing degradation of performance, which allows access to an uncontended, symmetrical service of up to 20Mb with fixed service SLA’s.
Broadband FTTC
Offering download speeds of up to 80Mb, and uploads of up to 20Mb. This is the next step up from ADSL. By using the same underlying technology of Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) it is offered as reduced cost alternative by being a contended service, so can be impacted at peak times and by other internet users in the area. Able to support a single Virtual1 service, such as Internet or SIP. For the application of multiple services, you will need an EoFTTC service or better. As with EoFTTC, coverage can be limited, although it is more widely available than EoFTTC.
ADSL
Our ADSL solution is business-grade, offering download speeds of up to 24Mb with quick and efficient implementation. As an entry level product, bandwidth is contended or shared with multiple users at that exchange. ADSL is most commonly used as a low-cost backup service.
Simplify your supply chain
We deliver high capacity, low latency solutions; from easy-to-deploy FTTC to ultrafast 10Gb Fibre Ethernet. We complement our coverage by partnering with a range of other leading UK carriers to ensure 100% coverage. Meaning you can provide your business with a perfect solution—all from one supplier.
Resiliency Options
We provide a range of resiliency options; from diverse exchange routing to using our supply chain to deliver carrier diverse solutions. We also offer a range of connectivity technologies, with fibre, copper and cellular transmission all being used to deliver private connectivity.
You control your customer solutions
All of our solutions can be fully managed via 1Portal, or our suite of APIs. Taking advantage of our software-defined network, and supply chain integration you can order and manage your services in minutes. You can wave goodbye to 5-day change SLA’s.
Security integrated into your solutions
It almost goes without saying that you are going to want to keep your business data safe. We can assist with our managed, or co-managed firewalls, private connectivity and our Managed SD-WAN product—all of which will give you and the business ultimate peace of mind.
